About the Product & Uses
Bhut Jolokia also called ‘Ghost pepper’ is one of the world’s hottest chillies among all chilly varieties. It has over one million Scoville Heat Units making it one of the most potent chillies, and thus it is also called the naga king chilli. This variety is mainly found in parts of Assam, Nagaland and Manipur. It is best used in making curries, chutneys, pickles or stews where strong, hot flavour is needed. Its uses are not limited to cooking but they also act as natural repellents for pests, and are used in making pepper sprays and Ayurvedic medicines for strengthening metabolism, joint pain, and boosting digestion.
